Evan is a corporate and securities attorney at BlackHill Partners with a primary focus on private fund formation, venture capital, securities offering, and general corporate matters.
Evan has worked in the securities industry from the time he finished law school. Evan has worked as in-house counsel for a broker dealer and venture capital firm as well as a fund administrator. He now uses those experiences to help his clients navigate the areas associated with forming and operating private funds.
Evan utilizes a holistic approach to advising his clients by helping them with their immediate short-term goals while still being prepared for future growth.
Evan helps his clients comply with the Securities Act, Investment Advisers Act, and the Investment Company Act. All of which are typically implicated with sponsoring a private fund. Evan also advises small businesses with corporate structure and capital raising.
