Judy is a corporate and healthcare attorney whose practice covers a wide variety of business matters, including entity formation, governance, employee matters, contracting, and transactions, particularly in the healthcare space. In addition, she counsels physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations on regulatory and compliance matters, such as Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act.
Prior to joining Riggs Davie, Judy led the M&A team for Delek U.S. Holdings. She served as in-house counsel at HealthTrust Purchasing Group and Emdeon (now Change Healthcare) for a total of eight years. Before transitioning in-house, she practiced corporate and securities law at Bass, Berry & Sims in Nashville and Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge in Washington, DC.
Judy graduated from Yale University, Vanderbilt Law School, the Owen Graduate School of Management and the Scarlett Leadership Institute. She is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of Nashville Classical Charter School and as the President of the Yale Club of Middle Tennessee.
